Christina Rose Ashby is an Alaskan raised theater artist currently based out of Brooklyn. She received her BA in theater from the University of Alaska Anchorage and her MFA in directing from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. Christina has a wide background in all types of storytelling creation. She utilizes these skills in her main areas of focus.

Christina is a freelance director who specializes in devising and new work development. Christina is the founding artistic director of Permafrost Theatre Collective, a community of multidisciplinary artists who believe in the transformative power of storytelling. 

Christina is also a teaching artist and has taught and directed both young performers and adults in Alaska, West Virginia and New York.
