Christina Ashby is an Alaskan theater artist living in Brooklyn. Having grown up in various parts of the vast state of Alaska and having the great fortune of being able to travel the world, Christina values the importance of different types of storytelling. Christina has studied theater extensively as a traditional actor, movement-based performer, designer, director and technician. As a director, Christina strives to tell universal stories that are presented in unique and challenging ways. 

Christina is a teaching artist with LEAP and The Leadership Program and has taught youth theater for the Alaska Theater of Youth and Emma Kaufmann Camp

Christina is the founder of Permafrost Theatre Collective, a new storytelling ensemble.
